Here's a simple paper plate Chinese dragon mask craft - something to get even the youngest children involved in Chinese New Year and Year of the Dragon. Why not hold your own Chinese New Year parade when you have your mask completed?
You will need:
Paper plate
Paint
Elastic
Glue
Tissue paper
Decorative paper and card
Instructions:
Paint the back of the plate and leave to dry.
Punch a hole in either side and tie through a length of elastic.
Carefully cut out two eye holes.
Cut strips of tissue paper and glue them to the cheeks and chin.
Cut horns, a nose and spikes from decorative card or paper and glue these to your mask.
