Construction Worker Costume

This is a very simple costume to pull together, especially if you already have a toy safety helmet. If not, we have instructions for making a papier mache helmet below.

Any budding builders will enjoy this construction workers costume! Start with a pair of jeans, trainers or boots, and a T-shirt or flannel shirt. Add a toy safety helmet if you have one: if not, get out the papier mache supplies and make your own following the instructions here:

Safety Hat Craft

You can add some "safety" stripes to your child's T-shirt with silver gaffer tape or insulation tape, or make your own waistcoat like the one in the photo above.
