Cornflake Crunch
Lindsay says: This teatime treat is very popular with the kids (although adults have been known to enjoy it too!) My kids enjoy making it.
You will need: 4oz margarine or butter Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F (190C, Gas Mark 5) Grease and/or line a shallow baking dish, about 8x10 inches. Melt the butter and syrup in a pan over low heat, then mix in the dry ingredients. Press the mixture into the baking tray. The mixture should be approx 1 cm in thickness. Bake until golden, approximately 15-20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
