Diya Craft (1)
This is a simple clay craft idea which children enjoy
because it is fast and the results can be used quickly! You could of course
adapt this idea to give as a gift.
You will need: Air-drying clay
Greaseproof paper
Flower petals
Tea light candle Instructions:
Take some clay and shape it into a small bowl over the bottom of a cup.
Press the petals into the outside of the bowl. Leave the clay to dry.
You could also wait until the clay has dried, then paint the
diya. Add the petals with a little PVA (white) glue, and cover the whole
diya with glue for a good, shiny finish.
