Japanese Family Fan Hanging
One for every member of your family!
You Will Need:
A4 paper
Popsicle sticks
Paint
Black pen
Ribbon
Glue
Draw a rainbow shape on your paper, using
our template as a guie. You will need one for each member of the family.
Sponge paint your fans with watered down poster paint to get a
soft effect. Alternatively use different coloured paper for each fan. When dry
use black pen to draw on the names of each member of your family in Japanese
script, using this
online name translator.
For each fan, glue 4 popsicle sticks together in a fan shape
about 1cm from the end. Glue the decorated paper to the other ends of the
sticks. When dry glue each fan to a piece of ribbon and hang.
