Ghoulish Gunk

This dip is delicious, but with its bright green colour it
sits well on a table filled with horrible Halloween food!
Ingredients: 2 ripe,
dark-skinned soft avocados
5 ounces of shredded (grated) cheddar cheese
10 sprigs fresh cilantro (coriander)
4 tablespoons chunky salsa
Salt and freshly-ground pepper to taste
Chips/crisps (like our Halloween Crisps) or
fresh chopped vegetables to serve
Instructions:
Wash and chop the cilantro. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pits and set
aside. Scoop out the centre of the avocados and place in a bowl. Mash, leaving a
few lumps to make it look suitably gruesome, then stir in the salsa,
grated cheese and cilantro.
Push the pits back into the dip to keep it from turning brown,
cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Remove from refrigerator and
discard pits, then season well.
Serve with chips/crisps or fresh vegetables.
