Grand Old Flag Fudge
Here we have combined white chocolate with dried fruit to make a delicious
Independence Day treat.

Ingredients:
12 ounces good quality white chocolate
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup coarsely chopped almonds, toasted, or flaked almonds
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup dried blueberries
Instructions:
Prepare a 8 inch square pan for your fudge by laying foil into it, extending the
foil over the edges of the pan so that you can use it as a handle when removing
the fudge.
Now place the white chocolate and condensed milk together in a large
microwavable bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir and check, and then
microwave again if necessary, until the chocolate is almost melted. Remove from
the microwave and stir with a rubber spatula until the chocolate is completely
melted and smooth.
Stir in the chopped or flaked almonds, and then carefully fold in the
blueberries and cranberries.
Spread the mixture evenly into the pan, and refrigerate until firm - about 3
hours. Remove from the pan by lifting the foil. Cut and store tightly in the
refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
