Groundhog Day Pop-up Puppet
Make this Groundhog Day popup puppet and your Groundhog will be popping out of his burrow to check the weather!
You will need:
Groundhog Day Finger Puppet
Polystyrene/paper cup
Green paint
Popsicle (lolly) stick
Instructions:
Follow the instructions to make your Groundhog Day Finger Puppet.
Paint the cup green and leave to dry. Cut slits in the top of the cup to make it look "grassy" and carefully
poke a small hole in the bottom of the cup.
Attach your puppet to one end of the popsicle stick.
Slide the popsicle stick into the hole, so that your groundhog sits in the cup. Slide the popsicle stick up and down
so your groundhog pops in and out of his burrow to check the weather! Can he see his shadow?
