We have 16 different Jack-o-lantern printables which you
can use in a variety of ways to decorate your house and keep your kids busy this
Halloween!
Ideas for using our Halloween Pumpkin Decorations:
Print out a selection for your kids to colour in. Orange wax crayons are
particularly effective. Display by punching a hole in the top and hanging
from a line stretched across the room. You could even use clothes pegs to
attach the different pumpkins to the line.
For a quicker option, print out onto orange card or heavy printer paper,
cut out, and string up to make a banner.
Give a different pumpkin to each child to color and line the walls of
your classroom with cheerful jack-o-lanterns!
Once colored in, cut out the features and glue tissue paper to the back
of the pumpkins. Display against the window.
Again, cut out the features. Wrap your jack-o-lanterns around a glass
jar or over a lampshade for a special effect. Safety comes first - make sure
there is no chance that your pumpkins will catch fire!
Print each jack-o-lantern twice, the second time reversing the image
(use your printer settings to achieve this). Cut out, and cut out the
features too. Sandwich the pumpkins together, trapping colored tissue paper,
wax paper or cellophane between them. Laminate. Punch holes in the top and
string them around your room or even outside your house. The lamination will
protect the pumpkins and you will be able to use them year after year.
Make a pumpkin patch! Color the pumpkins, laminate, then stick to
lollipop sticks or chopsticks. Use the sticks to push the pumpkins into the
grounds in the front garden to welcome visitors to the house!
