Handprint Rainbow
This handprint rainbow makes a fantastic classroom or large group project and looks dazzling on the wall! Perfect for St Patrick's Day, Noah's Ark, or any rainbow theme - as well as for Rainbows' Promise and Pot of Gold Ceremonies. You will need: A large sheet of white card Cut out lots of handprints from the coloured paper. Arrange the red handprints in an arch and glue down the palms, leaving the fingers loose. Arrange the orange hands in an arch underneath, overlapping the fingers with the palms of the red arch. Glue down by the palms. Carry on, colour by colour until the rainbow is complete. Sarah says: Why not make a unit rainbow with all the girls adding handprints
with their name on? We use ours for Promise ceremonies with girls walking under
it and standing in front of it while they make their promise. Then they add
their handprint to it. At Pot of Gold ceremonies girls step over it to be
