"I Give Thanks" slips

These
little "I Give Thanks" slips were designed so that you can print a page and cut out 15
little slips on which to write your own special messages.
Perhaps
you could make a "Thanksgiving Tree" by cutting out the shape of
a trunk from brown paper and attaching to the wall with sticky-tack. When
you and the children have written your messages, arrange them on the tree
as "leaves" and turn one over every day.
Thanksgiving
slips You will need Acrobat Reader to view or print these slips,
which you can download free here.
More
ideas! Print out the "I give thanks" slips and use
them: For games!
To play
"Snap!" (you will need two copies of the printable)
For a
treasure hunt! Hide them around the house and tell the children how many
they have to find! Or attach them to lolly-pop sticks and
"plant" them in the garden! If you have more than one child
searching, either send them off as a team or mark the back of the pieces
with their name or initial. To play "Memory" (you will need
two copies of the printable)
For
decorations! Make some napkin rings for the Thanksgiving table!
Print out some of our gingham scrapbook
paper onto
thick paper or card stock (the brown and black pages work particularly
well), cut them into strips and fasten into a ring with sticky-tape. Then
decorate with these little pictures. Print out some of our Thanksgiving
name-cards for a matching look. If you print the sheet onto magnetic
paper, you can use these little pictures to decorate the fridge!
