Why jigsaws for kids?

We love these little kids jigsaws, which are quick to
print, easy to store, and very portable - perfect for taking on trips
or any time you need an activity which will take a moment or two. Perhaps older
children could make them for younger siblings? We have many different levels of
difficulty so you can choose what is appropriate for your child, and each jigsaw
has a hidden "shape" at its centre, to make completing it more interesting. And
we are building up a collection so that you will be able to find something for
everyone, whether you want to send a secret jigsaw Valentine's card, help a
child learn their country's flag, or just have fun. Find our printable kids jigsaws and instructions below.
Instructions for our printable jigsaws:
Print the jigsaws out onto printer card, and cut carefully around the large
and small pictures, which will either be rectangular or square, depending on the
design. Choose an appropriate jigsaw cutting guide below (rectangular for rectangular
jigsaws, for example, and with the right number of pieces for your child) and print onto
paper (scrap printer paper will do), and again cut out the whole rectangle of
square (not the pieces, yet). Now place over the jigsaw, matching the shapes up
carefully. Cut through both layers together, and discard the paper pieces. Store
the jigsaw in a box or bag and include the small image to help your child recognise and complete the puzzle.
