My Favourite Things

This is a good game for younger or shyer children who may find it difficult to talk confidently to a group.

Age 5+

You will need a piece of paper divided into four sections for each child (or print out a copy of our template for each child)

Colouring pens and pencils

Template (US spelling)

Ask the children to draw, one in each section, their favourite toy, food, person and animal. When they have finished, sit the children in a circle with all the pictures in the centre. Can they guess whose is whose?
