A Message From Lindsay
We've added so many new activities at Activity Village over the last
fortnight that, to save making this newsletter too long, I'm going to
skip my message this week and suggest you just scroll on down!
Just a quick note: London parents of Thomas fans might want to
make note of the events happening in Hamleys this Sunday and beyond -
they sound like fun. You can read about them
here.
If you or your child has made use of our craft ideas or printables, we'd
love to share the results here! Drop me a line by emailing editor-at-activityvillage.co.uk
(replace -at- with @).
Are you dealing with poor child behavior? Do you have a difficult toddler or
preschooler? Is it nearly impossible to get them to listen to you? Do you yell
at your kids and then feel guilty about it? I understand. It’s hard to feel good
when your kids are driving you crazy.
What if I told you that there are simple ways to solve these problems? The tools
and tricks that I want to share with you are totally different. They work. They
reduce your stress and bring more smiles to your family. If this interests you,
please keep reading.
My name is Chris Thompson. I’m a father and an expert in communication
strategies, language patterns, influence and persuasion. I created “Talking to
Toddlers” as a tool for parents. It shows you exactly how to get the positive
results that you want with your toddler or preschooler. I use these tools with
my children, and I teach other parents to do the same. Now it’s your turn to
learn these valuable tools.

Something To Think About..
WHAT is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
