Learning numbers and counting can be all the more fun if it is turned into a game - and we've got a good collection of number games for you to enjoy with the kids here. Read through the games to pick and choose the ones that are appropriate for your child. Some aim to help children recognise numbers. Others are early counting games. And still others are for older children who just enjoy numbers.
Here's a really simple idea which is fun to put together and fun to play with. You can play with the jars in many different ways, making is suitable for a wide age range too. Perhaps older kids could make the game for younger siblings?
This is an easy addition to a party or fete, and is always a favourite. And it can be good counting practise for younger children, too! All you need is a container and lots of little sweets (candy).
