You can make some really wonderful advent calendars with origami - which you can fill with all sorts of things to make the run up to Christmas even more exciting and special for your children. Either make these origami advent calendars as a surprise for the kids, or enlist their help in the making and fill them secretly, so that opening up each day is a surprise.
