Shapes Robot

Shapes robot

This is an excellent craft for preschool children. If the shapes are pre-cut it is simply a sticking job, something all children love. This craft also provides an ideal opportunity to practice color and shape vocabulary.

You will need:

Colored paper or pre-cut shapes
Circle stickers
Glue stick

Cut the paper into a selection of triangles, rectangles and squares (or ask the child to sort various shapes into piles).

Use these to ‘build’ your robot. When you are happy with your design, glue your robot to the paper.

Finish off with some circle shaped stickers.
