Snake Alphabet Jigsaw

Print and cut out this delightful snake jigsaw featuring all the letters of the alphabet, for your child to re-assemble - it's a great way to learn the alphabet! Available in colour and black and white, and with lower case and upper case letters. Scroll down below the image for some alternative game suggestions too.

Choose your printable below, and print out all seven pages, preferably onto card. Cut the jigsaw up, either by slicing along the lines as marked (quickest) or by cutting out each segment along the outlines. Laminate if you wish.

Alternative Game Suggestions:

Snake alphabet challenge:
Cut out the snake and join him together in one long line. Place a counter for each player on the head, and take turns rolling a die and counting spaces along his body. Whichever space you land on, you must come up with a word beginning with that letter, or miss your next turn. Whoever reaches the snake's tail first is the winner. You can vary this game for the ages of your children. Perhaps ask for a word ending in the appropriate letter, or a word containing that letter twice, or a country or girl's name beginning with the letter, and so on.

Alphabet race:
Make one jigsaw for each child and race to see who can complete it first.

Lower and upper case:
Make one complete snake (as in Snake Alphabet Challenge above) and one jigsaw snake, using our upper and lower case versions. Children match the segments to the complete snake.
