Spelling cards
If your child's teacher sends home a list of spelling words for a test, it is
all too easy to lose the list ...and somehow you never have the lists to hand at
the end of term when the big test looms!
Try writing your spelling words on these cards, then cut them out and take with you in the car
for odd traffic-jam moments. Pin
them up by the breakfast table, or even on the back of the bathroom door!
If you date and file your spelling cards (we used a small
display book or photo album, the front of which the kids decorated with
their own selection of stickers) you will be able to revise easily
when the time comes, too.
