Star of David Craft

This sparkly Star of David decoration looks lovely hung in the window at Hanukkah.  For younger children an adult could stick the sticks together, leave to dry and then let the children decorate.

Star of David Craft

You will need:

6 Popsicle sticks
PVA/White glue
Glitter
Thread

Instructions:

Take three of the popsicle sticks, put a dab of glue on the end of each and stick them together so they form a triangle. Do the same with the other three sticks. Leave the two triangles to dry.

Turn one triangle over and then glue the two together to form a “Star of David”.

Cover the star in glue and sprinkle glitter all over. Leave to dry and then turn over and repeat on the other side.

Tie a piece of thread through one of the points to hang your star.

Idea:

You could turn your Star of David into a photo frame magnet for a Hanukkah gift. Only apply glitter to one side of the star.

Use the central hexagon as a template to lightly draw around the portion of your photograph you would like framed, and a stiff piece of card. Cut both out leaving a margin around the line you have drawn. Apply glue to this margin and position the photo and backing on the frame.

When dry, attach small craft magnets to the back of the frame.
