Thinking Of A Number..
This useful little game is perfect for those odd moments when you just need a little something to keep the kids amused! Kids really need to be able to count to 100 or so to play.
Age: 6+ You will need: A pencil and something to write on. At least 4 players Play: They then announce: "I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100" The next player guesses a number, and the first player replies, "higher" or "lower" as appropriate. The next player then guesses a number, and play continues round the table until somebody gets it right. Example: Player 1: I'm thinking of a number... Player 2: Is it 45? Player 1: No, higher Player 3: Is it 74? Player 1: No, higher Player 4: Is it 94? Player 1: No, lower Player 2: Is it 93? Player 1: No, lower Player 3: Is it 80? Player 1: No, higher Player 4: Is it 83? Player 1: Lucky guess! Variations: You don't have to start with 100 numbers. Younger children may be more comfortable playing with 1-50. Older kids might want to go with 1-500 or even more! Obviously all players must pay attention or they will waste their guesses. More Party Games and Activities Back to Kids Games and Activities |
