Ants are a fascinating insect found all over the word, and there are at least 12,000 different species of ants living on our planet. They live in huge colonies with millions of other ants - they are very sociable insects! Ants are excellent builders, and often create a system of tunnels under their mound which connect different rooms together.
Fun Fact: Ants can lift and carry 20 times their own body weight, which is the equivalent of you or I lifting a car!
