When there's a baby on the way, one things parents must plan for is that existing children can easily become jealous of all the attention that will be diverted away from them and to the new arrival. One way that parents can help to stave off jealousy is by involving existing children as much as possible, making sure they know what is going to be involved and all the time reminding them that they too were once this small, helpless and time-consuming! We had this in mind when we created these new "Baby's Day" activities. Use them to inform, discuss and plan and get big brother or big sister onside and part of the babycare team!
We've got two sets. Baby 1 is a near-newborn, still breastfeeding. Baby 2 is sitting up and looks like he might soon be climbing out of his cot!
