This Beaded Wreath Craft requires only a few craft cupboard supplies but will hang proudly on your Christmas tree for many years! Suitable for all ages. NB: It is prettier than it looks in the photos! The beads are so sparkly that my camera had difficulty focusing.
Beaded wreath in Christmas tree
You will need:
Our template (below). We used the small wreath shape Printer card (or print the template onto paper and use as a guide to cut out of card) Seed beads, tube beads, small metallic beads etc in assorted colours Hole punch Ribbon to hang
Print our template directly onto card and cut out, removing the centre carefully. Alternatively, print onto paper and use as a template to cut out some heavier card as a base.
Punch a hole in the template where marked. Put your wreath on a safe surface - perhaps some newspaper or a plastic sheet.
Beaded wreath left to dry
Sprinkle your beads on carefully. Depending on the colour of the card underneath, you may not need to cover the wreath completely. You could use a mixture of glitter and beads if you prefer.
Leave to dry for at least 24 hours. Thread some ribbon through the hole, and hang.
