Learning about the Remarkable Mae Jemison

We have a section on Famous Astonauts here at Activity Village, and I was looking for a new astronaut or two to add to it when I came across Mae Jemison for the first time. To call her an astronaut, however, is to do her an injustice. This amazing woman was not only the first black woman into space, but is a doctor, scientist, businesswoman, professor and role model / mentor. She is truly inspirational.
