Subitising is the official term for being able to recognise how many objects you see without having to count each one individually. It's something we take for granted as adults, but you might notice your child counting the dots on the face of dice and realise that it is a skill that needs to be learned. We've created some new resources to help children's subitising skills, including spring and Easter themed printables that are particularly appropriate now.
