I had no idea that the Brontë sisters had such tragic, difficult lives, did you? I used the Yorkshire "Grand Depart" of the Tour de France and our subsequent quick trip to Yorkshire as an excuse to pull some Brontë content together and I've only looked at Charlotte and Emily so far - but I'm hooked and contemplating re-reading both Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights as a result.
