The bobsled, or bobsleigh, has got to be one of the most exciting events at the Winter Olympics, and many children will have enjoyed the tale of the Jamaican bobsled team in the Disney film Cool Runnings! We decided to have a go at making our own with supplies from the junk cupboard. It was really just a good excuse to make some lego bobsleds and race them down!
You will need:
Long cardboard tubes (from wrapping paper)
White paint
Building bricks
Instructions:
Cut the tube in half down the length. Paint the two pieces white inside and out.
Rest the two pieces side by side on a chair.
Design bobsleds from building blocks (you may need to use wheels) and race them down the slopes!
