Make three kings for your own Christmas handmade nativity scene, or dress up a king, queen, prince or princess for some special fairy tale characters!
You will need:
Pink and brown paint
Scraps of fabric
Pipe cleaners (chenille stem)
Paint the balls pink or brown and the cups any colour you like and leave to dry. Glue the balls to the bottom of the cups.
Cut two arms from foam and two hands from pink, for each king. Glue one hand to the end of each arm and the other ends of the arms to the body.
Decorate the kings however you like. You could:
Twist a pipe cleaner around the middle of the cup as a belt Glue on some sequins Glue on a fabric cape Glue on some wool as hair Make a headscarf by placing a square of fabric on the head and wrapping a pipe cleaner around it, securing in place with a bit of glue Add a gold card crown made from gold card (or a tiara, perhaps made from a gold pipe cleaner, for a princess).
Finally, add two eyes and draw on a face on each king.
