Day of the Dead Sugar Skull Masks

 

We love these Day of the Dead sugar skull masks because they are fun rather than scary, and just the right size for kids to cut out - although younger children will need help cutting out the eye-holes and noses.

The designs are simple and it might be fun to embellish them with gel pens, glitter glue, dot stickers, flower stickers, paper flowers and so on. Make them bright and colourful and all your own!

For masks you could sticky-tape a large lolly stick or chopstick to the bottom so that kids can hold them in front of their faces. They would also make a fun banner to hang around the room.

Finally, you could simply fold them in half and use them as a shaped booklet cover!
