Make this quick dolly peg ant craft for kids with some simple craft supplies from your cupboard. Instructions below.
You will need:
A wooden clothes peg
Black paint
2 black pipe-cleaners
Instructions:
Paint the peg black and leave to dry (the easiest way is to peg it to the side of a box.)
Cut the pipe-cleaners in half.
Take three of the pieces and twist the ends to make feet.
Slide the pipe-cleaners into the slit in the peg and bend so the ant stands up.
We had great fun making these spider biscuits and, as they are really just a question of adding decorations to existing biscuits, it's a quick activity to put together.
This is such a cute craft to make! It's perfect to make in the summer as part of a butterfly project and if you have any magnetic tape, you could make it into a fridge magnet.
These metalwork butterflies and dragonflies can be decorated by the children with permanent markers and they look oh so pretty when they catch the light! A really lovely craft for a summer display...
