Hunt for 12 varieties of apple in this large word search puzzle, which comes in lower case or upper case version so that you can choose what you prefer. Some of these apple varieties are as old as the hills - and some are more recent favourites.

There are 8 apple mazes in this collection, and we've designed them carefully so that they are quite testing, but not so difficult as to put children off. Each maze starts at the left and works towards the right, which of course is the direction that children are learning to read and write.

This set of 8 apple mazes are really quite tricky! Tackle them with a pencil and rubber (eraser) or laminate them and use a dry wipe pen, because I can almost guarantee that you will have to retrace your route a few times! We've included some fun "apple" facts and sayings too.
