These colourful Halloween peg cards are a different way to practise adding to 10 and are perfect for the classroom or at home. The children need to work out the sum then peg the correct number on the card. Laminate the cards if you want to reuse them.
Here's a fun way to practise adding to 20 with a spooky Halloween twist. Print and cut out these Halloween Addition peg cards, then ask the kids to try the sums and "clip" the correct number at the bottom of each card.
Count the number of ghosts in each group and write the number in the box below it. Then add up the total ghosts in each row, counting the ghosts again if it helps. Write the total in the box on the right.
