Horse Mask Craft

Making this horse mask involves all sorts of crafty activities that younger children will enjoy - painting paper plates, cutting, sticking, and of course wearing the mask at the end!

Horse Mask Craft

You will need:

Large paper plate
Small paper plate
Brown paint
Brown and black paper scraps
Glue
Black pen
Elastic

Instructions:

Paint the plates brown and leave to dry.

Glue the small plate onto the edge of the large plate to form the horse's nose. Draw on the nostrils.

Carefully cut out the eyes.

From the scraps of brown paper, cut two ears and glue them to the top of the head.

Use a rectangle of black paper for the forelock, cutting strips along one edge. Glue the strip between the ears.

Punch a hole on either side and tie some elastic through it to hold the mask on your child's head.
