Make this Little Red Riding Hood wooden spoon puppet and team it with our wolf wooden spoon puppet - and you are ready to put on a play!
You will need:
- Wooden spoon
- Red felt
- Stiff felt or craft foam in other colours
- Wool
- Tacky glue
- Wiggle eyes
- Marker pens
Instructions:
Cut a dress shape from felt or foam and decorate with offcuts of felt. Glue to the spoon handle.
Cut hands from felt and glue them to the sleeves of the dress.
Cut lengths of wool and glue them around the tip of the spoon to form Little Red Riding Hood's hair.
Place the puppet on the red felt and draw around it to make the shape of your cape. It needs to be about an inch bigger than the head and be able to wrap around the handle at the neck.

Cut out the cape. Glue it onto the spoon at the "neck", wrapping it around the handle. Add a little bit of glue to hold the hood in place at the top.
