Learning numbers is hands-on fun with these colourful playdough mats! We provide a little coloured-in image for inspiration but children should be encouraged to do whatever they like to decorate their number once they have made the shape. They could use different colours of playdough, press in beads or sequins or feathers and anything else that takes their fancy and is safe! Forming the shapes out of playdough helps many children to learn and remember the shape, and can be a good start for writing the numbers, too.
