Here's a simple paper plate poppy craft that toddlers and younger children can enjoy. A display of these would look pretty for Remembrance Day, or perhaps in the summer.

You will need:
Large paper plate
Red paint
Black paint
Instructions:
Paint a black circle in the centre of the plate. Paint the outside red.
Wait for the paper plate to dry!
When the plate is dry, cut a small point from each side of the plate so the red area becomes two petals.
