Sending the kids home with some reading words to reinforce is easy with this pdf full of suggested reading words for Phase Three. As new letters are introduced, a new set of words is introduced. If there aren't 10 words that day, we revise "tricky" spellings, high frequency words or words from previous days. We've also included "consolidation" slips for weekends or for when extra practice or revision might be needed.
These slips are simple to slice - just chop one A4 page into 4 parts along the dotted lines. We suggest that you leave the description line at the very top intact until you use the slips, at which point it takes a moment to cut it off (although of course you don't need to remove it). The description includes the week / day from the Letters and Sounds suggested timetable, but your progress may differ.
And finally, the last page is blank for your own word lists, should you need them.
