Reading Jack in the Beanstalk? Using a potato to print the leaves is a fun way for younger children to paint their own beanstalk - and make it as tall as they like!
You will need:
- Green paint
- Paper
- Potato
Instructions:
- Cut the potato in half. Draw a leaf on one half and carefully cut away the extra potato to leave the leaf. Adult supervision required!
- Paint the stem of the beanstalk onto your paper with green paint and a paint brush.
- Dip the potato into the paint and stamp some leaf prints along the stem, alternating sides.
