Russian Cityscape Collage

Here's a lovely craft for younger children, which uses the shapes of St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow as its inspiration. Lots of cutting and sticking involved!

Russian Cityscape Collage

You will need:

Brightly coloured paper
Large sheet of paper or card
Gluestick
Our templates (below)

Instructions:

  • Cut a selection of rectangles, squares and triangles from paper.  
  • Use the templates to cut some onion domes.
  • Arrange the shapes onto the backing paper to look like buildings. Look at pictures of St Basil's Cathedral and other Russian architecture to inspire.
  • When you are happy glue down the pieces.
