Here's a lovely craft for younger children, which uses the shapes of St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow as its inspiration. Lots of cutting and sticking involved!
You will need:
Brightly coloured paper
Large sheet of paper or card
Our templates (below)
- Cut a selection of rectangles, squares and triangles from paper.
- Use the templates to cut some onion domes.
- Arrange the shapes onto the backing paper to look like buildings. Look at pictures of St Basil's Cathedral and other Russian architecture to inspire.
- When you are happy glue down the pieces.
