This lovely craft idea can be undertaken in one go as a project on the seasons - or in four parts over the year as each season arrives. However you choose to do it, the canvases make an eye-catching display.
You will need:
- 4 canvases (or pieces of card)
- Brown poster paint
- Pink, green, yellow, orange, red, light blue and silver paint
Instructions:
- Paint your hand and wrist in brown paint.
- Stamp onto the canvas with your fingers spread wide to be tree branches.
- Repeat on each canvas.
Spring:
- Fingerprint pink blossom onto the tree
- Add some green grass underneath the tree

Summer:
- Fingerprint green leaves onto the tree
- Add some green grass underneath the tree
- Fingerprint flowers under the tree

- Fingerprint yellow, red and orange leaves onto the tree
- Fingerprint more leaves underneath the tree

Winter:
- Paint a line of pale blue (white paint mixed with a drop of blue) ice on the ground
- Finger print pale blue and silver snowflakes over the scene
