Towards the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th Century, a very determined band of women decided that it was time women had the vote in the UK (and in other parts of the world, too). They came from all classes and walks of life, and campaigned for women's rights both peacefully and with a certain amount of violence. This colouring page is based on photos taken in the early 20th century and shows well-to-do young women holding up a sign, perhaps about to embark on a march or head to a rally.
