God save our gracious Queen!
Long live our noble Queen!
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen!
Celebrations for HM Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 years on the throne, will
take over the country from 2nd to 5th June 2012. Some of us will be old enough
to remember her Silver Jubilee in 1977 and of course her Golden Jubilee in 2002.
Only one British monarch has ever before celebrated a diamond jubilee, and that was
Queen Victoria in 1897.
