Our strawberry pincushion a very simple first sewing project, the stitches can not be seen on the finished item. Makes a lovely gift for summer.
You will need:
Red felt
Red fabric pen (3D)
Green felt
Red embroidery thread
Needle
Fabric glue
Stuffing
Instructions:
Cut out a circle of red felt. Decorate the felt with red fabric paint dots and leave to dry.
Sew a running stitch around the outside of the circle, leave both ends of thread untied. Place a small amount of stuffing on the centre of the circle.
Pull the ends of the thread so the circle closes like a drawstring around the stuffing. Tie the thread tightly.
Cut out a leaf shape from green felt and glue this to the top of your strawberry.
