Children can make their own Sequin Egg as an Easter decoration without having to use pins - and its messy and fun, too!
You will need:
Polystyrene egg
Sequins on a thread (from haberdashers)
PVA (white) glue
Optional: wooden skewer and pot of playdough
Instructions:
This craft can get very messy. You can make it easier by popping your egg onto a wooden skewer and standing it upright in a pot of playdough.
Paint the egg with a coat of glue.
Starting from the top of the egg, wrap the thread of sequins around the egg.
Continue until the egg is covered.
Paint over another layer of glue to secure any loose edges and leave to dry.
