Here's a simple idea for a jigsaw to celebrate 2024, available in large and small sizes. This also makes a fun idea for a 2024 card. Get the kids to write a message on the back of the picture before you turn it into a jigsaw! Then put the pieces into an envelope and send...
Instructions for the small jigsaw:
- Print onto card
- Cut the picture out carefully
- Cut the whole rectangle of the jigsaw template out and place it over the top of the picture
- Cutting through both layers, cut along the dotted lines to make jigsaw pieces
- Of course our template is only guidance. You can make the jigsaw easier or more difficult according to the ages of your children.
Instructions for the large jigsaw:
- As above, except that you only need to print the first page of the jigsaw onto card.
- Get the kids to colour the jigsaw, write a message on the back if they wish (which turns the jigsaw into a fun card to send to friends and family), then cut it into pieces ready to put it back together again!
