Doodle Pattern Tiles - Creatures
Coming soon! We hope that your kids enjoy these doodle pattern tiles as much as we did! Younger children can design a simple pattern or just colour in the picture and the background in different colours. Older children can really go to town, dividing up both the creature and background into more sections, drawing borders, and adding a bit of something special!
We thought that it might be fun to try doodling an acorn or a squirrel for Autumn, on our Doodle Pattern Tiles! Cut them out first to make doodling a little easier.
These lovely outlines - of a bird and butterfly - are excellent for doodling around! Younger children could choose one pattern for the inside and another for the background, while older kids can sub-divide the shapes and get as intricate as they like.
I would love to see what your kids do with these doodle pattern tiles, with fun crocodile / alligator and elephant outlines to fill in!
Here's a cat and a dog on a Doodle Pattern Tile - a perfect way to get the kids to get doodling! Just fill in the shapes with one pattern and the background with another - or divide each shape up into more parts and try a different pattern for each!
These are my two favourite Doodle Pattern Tiles! I've seen some really fun designs done with the owl in particular. Kids can fill in each section of the design with their choice of doodle or pattern, using black and white pen or a mixture of colours.
Our Doodle Pattern Tiles encourage children to get really creative with their patterns and designs! Here are two more tiles, featuring a simple bat outline and a rather lovely fish.
