For each of the countries we cover, we've got 4 different sets of bookmarks - two to colour, and two to print "as is". One of each kind has the name of the country and the other is blank, for you to write a message or the kids to practice their best handwriting.
One of our visitors also pointed out that name-less bookmarks also make great labels for the spines of files, shelves etc. Why use them just as bookmarks?
We also heard a great idea for using the bookmarks in the classroom during the last Olympics. Anne printed out one bookmark for each of the children in the class and they picked them randomly. They then used the bookmarks to record medals won. You could do the same for many sporting events.
