Mounties are so smart, I'm sure the kids would like to have a go at drawing one. Take it step by step and they will soon be colouring in their own picture.
We've turned our colouring page of a Mounties parade into a postcard. Kids can colour in the picture, cut out the postcard, fold and glue it, and then write a real or imaginery postcard to a friend. What a fun way to "visit" a country, if you can't get there for real!
These maple leaves need some colour and decoration! Get out the playdough and decorate the maple leaves on this playdough mat in yellow and orange for autumn or maybe bright red for Canada Day.
Write a shape poem, draw a picture of Canada, or find out about maple trees and record your findings. With lined and blank versions available there are lots of ways to use our maple leaf frame.
