This paper plate jellyfish craft is great for fine motor control - specifically practising threading and tying knots! If you have a mixed age group of children you could have the younger kids making our other, simpler paper plate jellyfish and older children trying their hand at this one.
You will need:
- Paper Plate
- Paint
- Wool
- Hole puncher
Instructions:
- Cut your paper plate in half and paint it.
- Cut lengths of wool so that they are a similar length.
- Use a hole puncher to punch holes into the straight edge of the paper plate.
- Thread the pieces of wool through the holes and tie to secure them.
You could also punch a hole in the top of your jellyfish and thread wool through it to make a jellyfish mobile.
